  • Transfers and scope: Cosmos Hub can send IBC packets to enabled chains, but the destination chain, channel, relayer, asset denomination, and available route still determine whether a transfer works.
  • Compatibility: Gaia modules and Cosmos Hub contracts use a different account, wallet, and execution environment from Ethereum; an EVM contract or wallet connection does not carry over automatically.
  • Security and control: Bonded ATOM secures Cosmos Hub. Other connected chains can use separate validators unless they adopt an explicit shared-security relationship, so Hub statistics do not describe the wider ecosystem.
