Avalanche blockchain is a decentralized platform for public and private ledgers that combines performance and security. Avalanche is a platform that allows for multiple different blockchain systems to be layered on top of each other in order to create an infinitely scalable, cryptographically secure, tamper-proof ledger that can be used for any number of industries. The Avalanche network will be resistant to attacks from quantum computers, which are predicted to be capable of breaking the asymmetric encryption used today.
